California Speedway

Situated on the site of the former Kaiser Steel mill approximately 40 miles east of Los Angeles, California Speedway has given the southern part of the state one of racing's prettiest and fanciest venues. It has lush landscaping, a palm tree-lined entrance, 61 palm trees along the back stretch, and a view of the handsomely craggy San Gabriel Mountains in the distance. The track has hosted two Nextel Cup races a year since 2004.
