Jimmie Johnson Goes Home to California
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is gearing up for a busy spring! Between the recent trip out to California and the upcoming Jimmie Johnson 150 festivities coming up in April, the foundation is thrilled to continue to assist children and families in need.
While returning home to San Diego prior to the Auto Club 500, Jimmie and Chandra met the second family who will be moving on to Foundation Lane in the coming months. The Johnsons passed the keys to the first family last August and are planning to celebrate the completion of all four Habitat for Humanity houses during the California Race Week in early October.
Auto Club Speedway’s Jimmie Johnson Foundation Ticket Package was a huge success selling 537 tickets and raising $25,776 for the JJF. Thank you Auto Club Speedway! Jimmie answered many questions during the Q&A about the start of the season and his new beard.
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation has reunited with Phoenix International Raceway for the second year in a row to host the Jimmie Johnson Foundation 150, the Camping World West Series Race
, on Thursday, April 16th. A special “Night of Champions” party featuring Jimmie will take place in PIR’s Octane on the evening of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation 150. Proceeds from special racing items and memorabilia auctioned at the event will benefit the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and its partner programs.
