No visit is complete to this picturesque road course without a trip into the village of Watkins Glen where the races were once held. At the Seneca Lodge, one can enjoy casual dinning, as well as see many of the wreaths worn by the Formula One victors. For a beautiful, early morning walk, there is Watkins Glen State Park, located in the middle of town across from a sub shop. The tourist friendly adventure features stone walkways and bridges built in the 1930s.
