Jimmie Johnson will be heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway with a 20-point deficit after excessive brake heat cause the bead on the RF tire to melt in the late going at Phoenix International Raceway, sending Johnson into the wall and relegating him to a 32nd-place finish.
