We know it’s a little early, but in case you have started working on your holiday shopping list, or you just need to find a practical gift for the project-lovers in your life, check out the Kobalt Tools that the Lowe’s Racing team talks about int he following videos.

All of these members of Team 48 are great mechanics in the shop and at the race track, but in this video shoot we got to see their on-screen talent too!

First, rear end mechanic Ben Stachowicz discusses the Kobalt Double Drive Screwdriver, which is twice as fast as standard ratcheting screwdrivers, which makes screwing in multiple screws easier and faster.

Next, tire specialist Zack Miller and car chief Ron Malec talk about the Kobalt Magnum Grip Pliers. These pliers’ unique parallel jaw action is 2x as powerful as standard pliers.

And last, but certainly not least, floor assembly mechanic Mike “Tiny” Houston shows off the Kobalt Double Drive Ratchet in the above video. Two major features of this ratchet are the dual drive gearing mechanism, which drives fasteners twice as fast as a normal ratchet, and the rotating handle that cycles the head allow you to install/remove nuts and bolts at one angle without swinging the ratchet.
