The House of Blues in downtown Chicago was rocking 'n' rolling on Friday, September 14 for the latest round of the Jimmie Jam concert series, with approximately 900 guests in attendance!
The Chicago Jimmie Jam featured the band Cheap Trick, best known for the smash hits “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and “The Flame.” Guests also got to participate in a Q&A session with five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet. Johnson discussed topics ranging from road racing to this year's Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Jimmie Jam is usually a private event, but Team Lowe’s Racing opened it up to forty lucky fans who purchased tickets, helping out the Jimmie Johnson Foundation (JJF) in the process. The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is dedicated to assisting children, families and communities in need.
