Now, here are some thoughts from Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus on Bristol:
JIMMIE JOHNSON, DRIVER, NO. 48 KOBALT CHEVROLET SS (ON BRISTOL.): “We had a rough race last time at Bristol and got caught up in a wreck. Bristol is going to be interesting for sure. Everyone is still trying to dial in their cars with the new rule packages. We’ve had a decent start to the year – as well as our teammates on the No. 88 - I’m really proud of the entire shop. It hasn’t been easy this year – we’ve been working really hard on these cars.”
CHAD KNAUS, CREW CHIEF, NO. 48 KOBALT CHEVROLET SS (ON BRISTOL.): “Bristol isn’t one of my favorite tracks on the circuit – it’s a tough track and so many things can happen. But we are taking one of the best cars we can take there by far. Chassis No. 728 is an older Chevrolet but it’s a good car for us that’s had good runs in the past so I’m looking forward to unloading there and actually turning some laps.”
