Characters from “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted,” which comes to theaters in 3D on June 8^th, will grace the hood of Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet at Dover International Speedway.

We’ve taken over 14 hours of work from the 48/88 shop and squeezed it into a 1 ½ minute video so that you can watch the No. 48 Lowe’s Patriotic car get painted and decaled from start to finish. 

We dug up this video from our 2011 archives and just had to share it with Team 48 fans. Watch the 48 crew try to fry an egg on the blazing hot pavement in Phoenix.

This weekend, Team Lowe's Racing will be unveiling a special patriotic paint scheme that will run on the Lowe’s Chevrolet at the NASCAR Sprint All-Star race and the Memorial Day weekend event in May.
