Team Lowe’s Members Show Their Style

Just send your photos and stories to Track Record® Magazine, 1000 Lowe’s Blvd., 3EMM Mailcode, Mooresville, NC 28117.
The members of Team Lowe’s Racing have been busy this summer – and they’ve doing some racing of their own.
Check out these neat Pinewood Derby cars:
Micah Walls, 7, of Horn Lake, MS, made a Pinewood Derby car. He used a coping saw and drill for the axles. He also used Jimmie’s colors and No. 48 stickers from his Lowe’s sticker book.
|
For Mason Cooler, 6, of Savannah, GA, his Pinewood Derby project brought home three trophies from his Cub Scout event. He sanded the car himself and helped his Dad paint and decorate the car. |
Eight-year-old Liam Conroy of Oswego, IL, created a race truck – much like what Jimmie Johnson to race in the off-road series. He used a hammer, saw and screwdriver on his project. |
