How long have you been a fan?
I was born into a family with a love of Saturday night racing. My mom is from Murphy, N.C. so the love of racing is genetic, I guess.
How did your interest in racing start?
My mom
Who was your favorite first driver?
It used to be anyone in a Chevy when I was young but when a young kid out of Cali blasted on the scene (Jeff Gordon), I started to follow him.
Who is your favorite current driver?
Jimmie Johnson! I have been rooting for him since 2003 just because he was from San Diego.
If you had three hours to spend with your favorite driver, what would you do?
I would want to play a round of golf with Jimmie and Chad. Maybe play at Maderas, Aviara, Torrey Pines, or La Costa.
What is your most memorable moment in racing?
My most memorable moment was Daytona 2007. My son was about 2 weeks old and I watched the entire race with him in my lap. It has been a very special memory for me. That whole season we watched every race together. Another No. 48 fan was created.
How many races do you attend each year?
I used to go to both California races as well as one of the Phoenix races until I had my son. I will probably start to go again in a season or two when he can have fun too.
What is your favorite track?
Rockingham. My grandpa took me to it for my first race. We sat by turn one. It was awesome. It was the first time 43 cars passed me at about 180 mph and I've been a race fan ever since.
If you worked in racing, what would you do?
Anything! Why, are you hiring?
